Interviewed by Stephen Colbert, Westmoreland makes an ass of himself. At one point he talks about the need for putting the ten commandments in public places. Colbert asks him to name the ten commandments. Sadly, the moral crusader is only able to name three of the ten.
I’m even more sad that Georgia’s eighth district doesn’t have better representation than Westmoreland, who as the video above establishes (through his own admission), has never introduced a piece of legislation (but then again, he doesn’t believe that is part of his job).
People realling need to watch the video, because it demonstrates just how badly our country needs competent leadership.

At last I understand it. We need to put the 10 commandments in every public place because public figures can’t remember them and may forget to apply them.
Particularly that, "honor the sabbath" thing. What’s the penalty for those who fail to comply? (Exodus 31:14) Let’s start implementing the death penalty for anyone who fails to honor the sabbath.
