Best interest of the people

I would argue that Bush never acted in the interest of the people, but most people didn’t agree years ago, but today, that just isn’t the case. I feel like the trend has been to mistrust the man who blatantly lied to us and who can barely complete a sentence recently. And that distrust is well placed.

But a conservative party can’t, by definition, act in the interest of the people, because conservative ideology requires its followers to conserve freedoms and rights for the interest of security and money.

However, I believe that a president who has members of his own party believing him incompetent should step down. But of course, how can Bush step down? He’s making so much money off of his war in Iraq and his nation of fear.

Recently, Bush vetoed a healthcare bill for poor children, effectively denying 10 million kids healthcare. He might as well just hold a press conference and lay out his thoughts on poor people, minorities, and other religions… the man cares not for the welfare of his nation… he’s either a puppet or a greedy bastard, or both.

He also recently refused to call a genocide in Turkey a genocide… which is just so strange to me. Arguing semantics for political gain in the Middle East. These guys REALLY don’t care, and they couldn’t be more obvious about it.

I suppose this is just the continuing saga of corruption in the government. Some are much more guilty than others, however, it is very clear that Bush has broken some records for dishonesty, negative change, and criminal action.

One thing is for sure, it makes me want to fight to regain the freedoms this country was supposed to have. I’m not talking about helping Bush invade other countries for their resources, but fighting here, on my home soil, for the freedom of the many. Bush can hate on the American people all he wants, as long as he enjoys being labeled one of the worst men in history.
