It wasn’t, seriously.
I’m not really the type of person to be up until 3am grinding out problems that I did not create; the whole reason I was never fond of the whole “freelancing” idea is that I never enjoyed weeding through other people’s code and work. The joy of programming and software engineering lay in the creative thought and architecturing, the design, basically – the ability to create things and innovate was where the fun came from.
Having to adhere to strict codes and rules is a violation of viewing software development as an art – abstract, and free.
Regardless, I am glad that I have gotten everything to work.
